Thursday Weekly News - Black Rock Manga

Kufufu... we meet again today.

Thursday is a special day. Why, you ask? Because it's one day from my favorite day, which is Friday.

Over the week, there have been numerous news going around the "industry". Let's look at some of them.

- Black Rock Shooter is apparently getting a manga by Suzuki Saname in the next issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine in its June edition. I can already hear Lelouch-kun's screaming from here... kufufu... (AnimeNewsNetwork)

- Asumi Kana, who voices Taneshima Poplar (Working!!/Wagnaria!!) and Yuno (Hidamari Sketch) among others, is currently on hiatus in appearance events due to health concerns. Hopefully, her condition is not as bad as Dog Days' concept. (AnimeNewsNetwork)

- GONZO announced a new anime in the works named Copyhan, which is a school comedy, set in 2034 Tokyo, while the manga has been serialized since November 2010 in Comic Rush Magazine. Am I the only one bothered that there are only 2 male characters in a school comedy? (Gigazine / MAL)

- AnoHana (also known as that ridiculously long-named anime) is helping Chichibu city's tourism in Saitama after the subsequent earthquakes in Japan by promotion as the anime's setting is based in the city. It's nice to know that anime is helping Japan get back up on its feet. (MAL)

- Kajiura Yuki's twitter has mentioned that the Fate/zero anime will start in October. I'd like to take this as an apology for what happened to the UBW movie. (MAL)

Hopefully, this makes up for the lack of activity here in a while. Let's meet again some other time... Kufufu...
