American fans of Fullmetal Alchemist are still waiting for the final installments of the 27-volume manga from Viz, but Japanese fans who wrapped the series in June of 2010 have some brand new FMA content to look forward to in June. According to Anime News Network, a new one-shot entitled "Prototype" will see print in the July issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine.
The timing of the new manga content is also ripe considering the release of Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Stars of Milos, the movie sequel capping the latest Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime is scheduled to open in July in Japan.
